    Hi there,

    I am new to WordPress so this may be a simple problem in which I have overlooked however I have checked everywhere I can and cannot find a solution to this problem.

    Some (not all) my new members are either not receiving their registration emails, or they are arriving in their junk mail.

    Can someone please help me to resolve this problem as I am have numerous people complaining about this and I am constantly having to reset passwords for members (time that could be better spent doing more productive things)

    I would appreciate any help/advice I could get on the matter.

    If mails are ending up in people spam bins, there’s not a lot you can do about it. What email address are you using in Settings -> General?. Post it in plain text here (example at test dot com).

    That is the email address under ‘general > settings’

    At the time of the MX records where not correctly set for the email account and no incoming email could be received, although outgoing was sending. Could this be to blame for the problem?

    I have since checked all MX settings and all other settings and the email address is now full functioning and receiving emails as well as sending them.
