    Is there a way to control members signing up on a blog/site? I would like to weed out potential spammers. I would like to receive an email before a member is approved or not so I can approve the member before they can even post anything.

  • The Pie Register or Register Plus plugins enable you to ‘approve’ members.

    I am not sure if I can have new members register on my site. Not sure how to use Pie Register. How do you do that? Also, is it possible to register before posting comments? How can that be done?
