1(!) disable plugin/undo all changes. If you just deactivate the plugin all the changes he has made will remain

    2. for categories there is an option to omit, (=exclude) you can do the opposite (=only include) or at least make a checkbox select all categories to omit (which would then clear the selection for only one category)
    3. option to set the time of the modified time of the post (the modified time will be active for 10 days for example)
    4. option to select post time ago, for example 1200 days ago

    ____________________________________
2-4 options let organize the following method:
1/checks whether there are posts written over 1200(setting) days ago (subject to the restrictions on the categories)
2/select one of these post and is modified to 10(setting) days after a certain time interval is checked to see if there are posts the time of writing, more than 1200 days )during this time, the list can be updated with new posts due to the fact that it took a while and all the posts are outdated and so on

    1. Are you saying your settings are lost when you deactivate and reactivate? That shouldn’t happen.

    2. Is this just a convenience feature to make it easier to select the categories when you have a lot of them? Or did I misunderstand?

    3. I don’t understand what you mean.

    4. This one seems like an existing feature which probably means I’m not understanding your request correctly.

If you don’t mind, please provide some more information. Thank you.

    1. If date of some post was modified and at thus time do deactivation of plugin, the date of post dont change back automatic!
    2. Yes I have a lot (selftrips.ru)
    3-4
    for example
there is post whis date 07/nov/2015
setting ago 100 days for 10 days, it is mean:
when present date is 15/feb/2016, post with date 07/nov/2015 (15/feb/2016-100=07/nov/2015) change its date to 15/feb/2016 (= present date) and after 10 day 25/feb/2016 (15/feb/2016+10=25/feb/2016) undo real date (07/nov/2015)

Thank you for explaining your suggestions.

I could see 1 being useful to some people, but it would add complexity as I would have to keep track of original publication dates and also if the plugin was the one to modify the publication date since users and other plugins may make changes.

3 and 4 seem very specific to your particular needs. I haven’t such requests before, but I always like to hear ideas people have.
