New order email not trigger

    When a client selects paypal as payment method on checkout, and goes to paypal page without making a payment and closing the window without coming back to the site, the New order email doesn’t get triggered. The order status stays “Pending payment” and no notification it’s sent to the admin.

    The email it’s activated, I have an e-mail log plugin and nothing gets logged.

    If the customer pays the order, the admin does get the new order email, but if customer closes the page, no email it’s sent.

    Hi there,

    If the payment is not made, it’s not an order but an abandoned cart. If you can to receive emails for abandoned carts you can consider using AutomateWoo or Follow-up Emails.
