New Order Email – “Note” Field title change

    Hello, users making a purchase on my site typically have to enter a VAT number, which appears in my New Order email next to the field titled “Note”, how do I change the title (only in the email) from “Note” to “VAT Number”, I don’t really want to change all instances of the word “note”, so I’d like to avoid using a plugin that will replace all instances of the word. Please advise

    Sorry, but I’m not sure if I’m getting the full picture here. On my test site, the new order email contains a table of the order details but there are no labels.

    Hi there, thanks for getting back to me.
    I have an additional field on my email, I believe this gets added when a user enters their VAT number on the checkout page, (there is an optional field), please see attached, I’m also adding a screenshot of the checkout page.

    On my test site, the field labels are missing for some reason.

    Have you tried solving this with a string-changing plugin like Say What?

    If that didn’t help, I suggest editing the WooCommerce email templates in your child theme. You can check this guide to learn more about editing WooCommerce templates.
