This string appears in customer’s mail as not translated:

“Thanks for your order. It’s on-hold until we confirm that payment has been received.”

String can’t be found for translation even by WPML String Translation. Instead WPML brings up one used long ago and not any more:

“Thanks for your order. It’s on-hold until we confirm that payment has been received. In the meantime, here’s a reminder of what you ordered:”

    Hello Tiit Sau,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

Could you please check the Email notifications settings in WooCommerce under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails and see if this text is coming from there?

Let me know if you find anything. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi Zubair,

I found solution for sites using WPML – delete the old longer string, re scan to find new one and add translation.

Still not sure how to fix it on sites without translation plugins.

String is not editable under WooCommerce > Settings.

    Hi @tiitinfinitee ,

That’s great to hear you’ve found a solution for WPML sites!

String is not editable under WooCommerce > Settings.

About this, are you looking to modify the default email content that gets sent to customers? If yes, you should be able to do so by navigating in your WordPress dashboard to WooCommerce → Settings → Emails. Once there, select “Manage” next to the specific email notification you wish to customize.

If this is not the case, and you need them to be translated as well, we would suggest using a translation plugin like WPML or Loco Translate.

    Hi again,

Why are You pointing to WooCommerce → Settings → Emails again? The string is not there.

we would suggest using a translation plugin like?WPML?or?Loco Translate.

I have 11 live sites with same sick string and your best advice is to start installing additional software to all sites just to translate one single string. This is unprofessional.

    Hey @tiitinfinitee ,

To clarify, you can edit the string via WooCommerce → Settings → Emails?by doing the following:

    • Click “Manage” for the “Order on-hold” email type:
    • Scroll down and click “Copy file to theme“:
    • Find and edit the string, and click to “Save changes”:

Alternatively, you should be able to use a Translation plugin. I’ve tested this with Loco Translate on my end, and it seems to be finding the correct string:

    Hope this helps!

Loco Sync button did help me to find the string and it works there.

Still can’t do without additional plugins. This is all I see clicking “Order on-hold > Manage”?

    Nowhere to scroll

    Hey @tiitinfinitee ,

Hmm, that’s definitely not expected behavior. ?? Are you seeing that for all email types, or only for “Order on-hold”?

It’s possible that there may be a theme/plugin conflict causing the issue here. Can you try running through a conflict test and see if that resolves the issue?

Here is more info on how to test for conflicts: https://woo.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If that makes no difference, please share the following:

    • System Status Report:?you can find this via?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for Support.
    • Console Errors: Please check for any browser console errors on that page and share them with us here. You can read more about?using your browser console to identify errors here

    Cheers
