New page adding -2 to slug

My podcast landing page has “podcast-2” as the slug, and I cannot change it. I have emptied the trash. I have searched for images with the word podcast and verified their slugs are not “podcast”. I have tried creating a new page, which becomes “podcast-3”. Are there any other methods that might work to get this page to have the slug “podcast” instead of “podcast-2”?
