New Page Does Not Show Up in Sidebar

    I’ve been asked to help maintain a website created with WordPress, and am just starting to learn how to use it. At this point the structure is very simple. You go to the home page and on the sidebar, there are three pages listed.

    I’ve created a new page and published it, but it doesn’t show on the sidebar. I’ve inspected the 3 listed pages and can see no difference in the settings they’ve used and what I’ve used (they are all Published, Public, no parent, and page order is 0).

    I’ve spent the morning googling to see how to fix this, but am finding only advice on much more complicated matters, so I’m guessing it’s so simple that I’m missing something glaringly obvious.
