New Page Issues

  • Hi, whenever i try to create a new blank page, it always comes up with a page that ive already created. I just want a new blank page.

    This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-Four theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Ive tried that and i dont see a plugin issue

    Did you rule out the theme too?

    And, is this the same problem as https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/duplicating-pages-issue-2/ ?

    yes I ruled out the theme. Not the same issue.

    1. Temporiaruy disable ALL plugins (and mean ALL, not “some”)

    2. Switch to the default Twenty Twenty-Four

    3. Start creating a new page. If the existing page comes up again, take a full screenshot of what you’re seeing and share it with us. Please share the full screen, including the URL in the address bar and the WordPress dashboard navigation menus.
