    Ok hi there,

    Basically when I create a new page with something in there, eg a contact form, everything is fine in Firefox but in other browsers, tested in Chrome and IE, there is no content and the sidebar flops over the page.

    In IE and Chrome the posts page works fine. The only thing i can track it down to is a tag in every page except the posts which is <!– and –> around the content which would obviously comment it out it seems, but why would that comment code be appearing in any new page? I am Lost ??

    Ian

    Thar she be. Just put up a new page there to demonstrate titled fgfhjkl;

    https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=https://www.ianodonnell.com/fgfhjkl/

    fix the errors.

    your page.php is not spitting out valid code.

    Make a similar post, one line if neccessary. load the permalink page for that post in your browser — view source, save it as post.html

    Load the example page that you just made in your browser — view source — save that as page.html

    If you remove the content from both those saved files, whats left should be nearly identical, structurally. Its not.

    Compare the validation issues you see there to what pops up on your front page:

    https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=https://www.ianodonnell.com/

    I use and recommend beyond compare

    Love to edit, to game, to code and to design

    If thats true, you need to get acquainted with standards and the wc3 validation ??
