Hi there. PMPro copies the same password strength logic and code that is used on the core WP password strength page.

I don’t see a way to disable that feature in our login page. But you could switch the login page to “use default WP” and look for another WP plugin to disable or change how password strength is calculated or applied.

It is good security practice to require strong passwords. I don’t believe the password needs to be 12 characters long if it’s otherwise at least “medium” (yellow) strength while changing.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi

If I use the theme login form, will everything(in Pmpro) work as it is? My theme is BuddyXpro?

Yes, everything should still work as intended. When using Theme My Login, please keep the login page set to “Use WordPress Default” as Theme My Login will handle the login redirects on their end.
