• Although I don’t really know css or html that much, I have attempted making my first theme. It is based on the themes at https://www.phoenity.com . For some reason, the first page doesn’t work on IE yet, but the single post pages do. It does, however, work just fine in Firefox. I just wanted to see what others thought of it and any suggestions you have.

You can see my test blog here.

Please let me know what you think!

  • You’ll need to close your h3 tag appropriately on post-2 “test” and the large font will disappear ??

Actually, on further investigation, you seem to have omitted the [3] from all your h3 closing tags.

you have </h> instead of </h3>

Cool. Simple, clean, and nice. Great job!

Sweet! Thanks for the tip, Katie! I didn’t know that I had to put the 3 when closing the header tags. I guess that’s all part of the learning process. I still neat to clean it up a little for IE. I just want to make it look just like the good Phoenity theme it comes from!

Has anyone else seen the theme?

Simple. Bit big and clunky though. Still pretty good.

Right getarista. Not at all bad, but I have my doubts about your carefully planned “floating rings” to the left.
In the long run it might be just a little bit disturbing when you try to read while scrolling.

All I wanted to do was make a theme that was the same as the website at https://www.phoenity.com.

I see. Of course, and I like the rings but I still don’t fancy the way they follow me when I’m trying to read the navigation bar.
Someting with my vision ( born already in the forties ??
