New Plugin: A9 SiteInfo Generator

  • Hi,

    I’m happy to present you another Plugin for your WordPress Blog: The A9 SiteInfo Generator.

    SiteInfo is an open standard which allows you to specify information that will be displayed in a toolbar menu. This allows the A9 toolbar (or other toolbars that want to use SiteInfo) to display a menu about your site, when a user is on your site.

    A sample and screenshots can be found on the plugin page.

    It would be great if some of you could test this initial release and give me some feedback!

    I just installed it (less than 5 minutes) and it worked like a charm right out of the box.
    Good job!
    I use mainly FF 1.5.4 and WP 2.0.3. If you need any other info – let me know.

    thanks for testing. I uploaded a new version which supports the Recent Posts, maybe you want to try it ??

    I just installed it and I like it. I’ve even made a Dutch .mo and .po file for it. Maybe you can include them in the official distribution?

    Few remarks:
    -The generation date on the option page doesn’t use the WordPress configured date format, so I see it in an English format (21 June 2006) instead of the expected Dutch (21 Juni 2006).
    – The translated ‘Search for’ language item isn’t honored in the generated XML. I still see the English text.
