New Plugin – New User Email Set Up

  • I’d like to announce the release of my new plugin ‘New User Email Set Up’. It defines the email sent to both the user and admin when a new user registers, including subjects and the from address.

    I set about writing it after i saw in this forum that a lot of people want to be able to define the text sent to new users, and it is also an alternative to James Kelly’s plugin, with which some people have had problems.

    Dear epicalex,

    Some of us are having a problem sending a new user email at all. The administrator gets a notification (soemtimes only after second user is added) but the new user doesn’t receive anything.

    As you’ve been writing a plugin, I thought you might be able to throw some light on this.

    Could it be a problem of read/write permissions?

    I too am having the same problem. The admin receives notification of new users registering, but the user experiences two problems. 1. The redirection page after filling out the registration form is blank, and 2. they do not receive a password.
