After upgrading to the new events calendar version 6.0.0.1 I am able to get most of the website functioning correctly, however only the first ticket in any list will show up on the single event listing.

    I have:
    – attempted disabling plugins
    – checked to ensure that the products from woocommerce are linked to the correct event
    – checked the actual wp_postmeta data to see where I might edit the ticket listings
    – created new tickets
    – created a new event with new tickets

All of these scenarios have failed.

When you add a new ticket in the classic editor, the ticket doesn’t even populate to the ticket list for the event in the editor. However, when using the gutenberg editor, the ticket will populate to the ticket list in the editor. It does not, however, show up on the front end.

    Please advise.

Hi @gideonjb, sorry to hear about this, and I appreciate you doing the initial debugging here. Could you provide me with the versions of PHP and WordPress are you using?

Looking forward to helping you further with this one.

    Best,
    Abz

We are on WordPress 6.0.2 using 2017 theme and php version 7.4.30
I also forgot to mention that if you delete the current product listed in the editor and shown on the front end, the next one in line will take its place.

Hi @gideonjb, sorry to hear about this. We have users reporting a similar issue. We have already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I have already added your case to it. Our development team is working on this, and rest assured we will provide a solution as soon as possible. For now, it would be good if you could revert to the previous version until we figure this one out.

I’d keep this thread open, and we would notify you whenever there are updates in this thread.

    Again apologies for the inconvenience.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi there!

We have a potential workaround to fix the display of the tickets on your events after upgrading our plugins. We have found that switching the ticket settings (in the event) from Tickets Commerce to WooCommerce brings back the tickets and proper currency settings. To do that, you can edit an event and click on the Setting button in the bottom right corner of the Tickets box:

From there, select WooCommerce as the “Sell tickets using” option and save the settings.

Update your event and check to see if the tickets are shown on the site’s front end. If you have reverted back to the previous plugin version or have reversed migration, I suggest testing the update and the workaround on a staging server.

Let us know if this helps,
    Gladys

I’m afraid this solution did not work. I was already using the WooCommerce ticket option.

Hi @gideonjb, sorry to hear that the workaround did not work. For now, the only option we could suggest is to downgrade to the pre-6.0 version of the plugin.

Here’s an article to help you with downgrading the plugins: Accessing and Installing Older Plugin Versions. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/accessing-older-plugin-versions/

If you had already migrated your events to the 6.0 data system, you should reverse the migration before downgrading by clicking Reverse migration under Events > Settings > Upgrades.

The reversal may take as long as the original migration and your site will go back into maintenance mode for that time. Keep in mind that reversing the migration will return your events to the state they were in before migration. This means that any updates you made to events after migration will be lost during the reversal process.

Please do try it out on a staging site, before implementing it on your main website.

Apologies for the inconvenience, and I hope this temporary workaround helps.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi @gideonjb,

We wanted to let you know that with our latest release of?Event Tickets version 5.5.1, we resolved the issue with the tickets in an event being limited by the global posts_per_page setting you were experiencing. Be sure to review our full?Release Notes?for more details.

As always, we suggest?testing updates on a staging site?first, and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. If you implemented any workarounds, you may remove them after updating.
    ?
If you still have issues after updating to the latest releases, please let us know!
    ?
Have a great rest of your day!
    ?
    Thanks,
    Erica
