New plugin version doesn't appear on plugin download button

Hello,

I have seen this question asked before but in a slightly different form, so I am going to ask it again as it relates to my specific case. I hope no one objects.

Last night I committed a new version of my plugin to my trunk in the svn repository and I created a new tag for the new version in the tags folder. I also updated my readme.txt file in the trunk and set the stable tag to the new version. I also committed a new banner image in the assets folder.

When I committed my plugin for the very first time a little more than a week ago, it appeared in the plugins directory right away. But, now, after committing the new version the “download” button on the plugin page still says “Download Version 0.0.1” which is the old version, and the plugin is not flagged as needing to be updated when I view the list of plugins in my admin area.

The contents of the new readme.txt file appears on the plugin ok, and the new banner image appears on the plugin page ok, but the download button still references the old version.

Could someone please check to see if I have done something wrong?
