New Post, Edit Post very very slow

  • My site is galacticjourney.org

    It started on Feb. 1, though it might have been as early as Jan. 30–I posted my blog on Jan. 29, and it was fine.

    It started with the New Post page taking forever to load, if I tried to preview, it said there was nothing there, I couldn’t add tags (preexisting or new). I posted the 2-1 post (on 2-2) and it posted, but the Edit Page takes forever to load, and I still can’t add tags.

    Now I can’t even load the main site without it taking forever.

    It’s not my browser (Chrome/Firefox, same results). It’s not my computer, OS, or network (I have used two different networks, and I’ve used a Win XP laptop and a Win 10 Desktop)

    It’s not my host–everything else on sdfo.org loads just fine.

    I have not installed any plugins recently.

    So… sounds like something’s broken with WordPress. Please help!

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
