new post (in site map) not being recognised by search console

    Hi,

    Google is not indexing my newest blog post. Search console says its indexable, and can be indexed, but that they believe I don’t want it indexed.

    I posted the post the same way it have done every other, there are no robot,txt codes or “no index” tags. The only thing i can see that may be the problem is that Search console says the post is “not submitted in sitemap” and sure enough, it is not listed on search console as being in the site map.

    It is however in the site map when i check from my admin area. Somehow it’s not carrying across. I readded the sitemap to search console but no change.

    Any ideas?

    Google Search Console does not update immediately when changes are made to the sitemap. Search Console showing “not submitted in sitemap” will not prevent Google from indexing and displaying content in search results.

    Closed. No further questions.
