New Post Not Showing Up

    I updated to 3.4.1 this afternoon. I wrote my first post since the update, previewed it, then published BUT when you go to my website the post that is showing is the last one I wrote pre-update. You can acccess today’s post in the archives, but otherwise, it’s not showing up and I have NO idea why! Hints. Suggestions. Anything??

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I’m having the same problem. I’m using the update Simple Catch theme.

    I’m using the Beauty & Clean Premium{paid} Theme. I managed to find the problem, it was theme related, not an update glitch.

    My post was categorized as “uncategorized”, which is, excluded from showing up on my blog, as a theme option. Once I chose a different category, the post became visible right away.
