    Hello,

    I scoured the forum to see if someone had problem similar to mine and found only one locked thread that offered no solution.

    I have downloaded and installed a translation file from Transifex and the MailPoet3 plugin is now translated properly in the admin dashboard. All of the interface and buttons are properly translated and displayed in the selected WordPress language (Serbian).

    The problem are header and footer sections of the new posts notification email. The text of the links for displaying the mail in the browser and managing subscriptions are still rendered in English.

    The text I refer to are following string templates:
    – Display problems? Open this email in your web browser;
    – Unsubscribe | Manage your subscription;
    – Add your postal address here!

    They are properly translated in the .mo file but not in the email.

    Also, is it possible to remove the “Add your postal adress here!” template from the footer?

  • Hi there,

    Are you still seeing the incorrect translation even when creating an entirely new email?

    For the postal address here section, you can just double click and backspace it.

    Thanks!

    Yes, I have created a new newsletter and none of the string templates are translated. Header and footer, and “Read the post” buttons, all are displayed in English even though the plugin itself is translated properly.

    Hi there,

    Could you please send us the translation files via https://mailpoet.com/support/wordpress-forums and we’ll take a look for you.

    Thanks!

    The support form does not allow *.mo files, so I sent you a Dropbox link.
