    Hi, WP newbie here.

I’ve just created my first new post type with CPTUI and exported a few previously made custom post types into it. The posts can be viewed, but if I click on ‘edit’ from the back end, I get a blank page. This happens also when I make a new post of this new custom post type.

I’ve even gone as far as getting the Extended version of CPTUI, but that doesn’t help either.

    What could cause this?

By blank page do you mean literally just a white screen? Or the post has an editor but the editor is empty when it shouldn’t?

Literally a white screen where one would expect the webpage with the editor in it.

You’ll want to check your PHP error logs for that, as it is probably a fatal error occurring somehow, and that may or may not be related to CPTUI itself. Just an error of some sort from somewhere.
