new post will not publish

  • Having just upgraded to 2.9, my new post refuses to publish. I keep being returned to the previous post, with the title of my new post showing as a non-functioning link at the top of the page. The permalink showing for the new post is the same as the old one. Your early advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • After you try to publish a new post can you click edit to see what the post status is? Is it draft, published or pending review?
