• Hi all:

I just slowly realized that any new posts, or post/page updates I have made since the beginning of February 2013 are not viewable.

I can see my home page and updates normally on my own computer — all new content is clearly visible. However, when using a friend’s computer, I noticed it looks like my blog was frozen in time from February.

I do believe that new posts can be seen by folks if I link to articles via Facebook or some other means, because some of the posts since Feb. have social media traffic and comments.

However, I’ve updated a page and asked for feedback, but a reader cannot discern any edits that I have made.

Any help? This is bewildering and extremely inconvenient for my business.

Here is a post that has been made since the “frozen in time effect” that may be viewable with a direct link: https://www.small-scale.net/yearofmud/2013/02/26/autine-john-neeman-tools/

  • Also, make sure any files left over are removed, both have been known to leave them (check the wp-content folder files)

Well, now I can’t even log in to the dashboard… I removed the w3 folder (and put it back again), and I’m getting this message when trying to log in:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /hermes/bosoraweb034/b4/ipw.small-sc/public_html/yearofmud/wp-content/db.php.

I do believe I reset the plugins folder earlier, although of course I can’t get in to do it again…

    So…Remove /wp-content/db.php (please)…

Thank you!! That was it. Thank goodness. To be clear, what is the origin of the db.php file — I want to have a full understanding just in case this happens again…

Thanks so much. I’ve been stressing about this big time.
