New posts do not appear

  • Hey there limaylimom – I am having the same problem. I cannot get my latest posts to show, no matter what I try.

    If I have the General Settings/ Front Page on-off set to ‘off’ all of my posts show in a blog style page. However if I have this setting ‘on’ then the static front-page is set (which is what I want) however only the first 3 posts I have written show. Sticky posts works though.

    I have trawled through code and tried replacing the code from the appropriate .php to front-page.php but to no avail!

    Please ButterBelly team, please answer this problem!

    I worked it out!!!!! quite by fluke actually! But I fixed it! And then I called out “YES!” so loud, I woke my son up from his midday sleep! BAH! Then I couldn’t work on it anymore ;(

    Anyway, the fix is this: the first picture you insert at the top of your post needs to come directly from insert media. You can’t add some sort of nifty code (like me who is using the google+ image gallery plugin to access my pics) to it, coz then it just breaks and the post won’t show. BUT HURRAH MY POSTS SHOW NOW!!
