    Hey @phynitesolutions ??

apologies for the delayed response—we took some time off to recharge over the holidays. I reviewed your site, and everything appears to be functioning as expected. The reason your posts aren’t being published to the fediverse is that your blog’s user currently has no followers. ActivityPub works much like email newsletters: it sends new posts to all subscribers. However, without any subscribers (followers), there’s nothing to send.

No worries, I figured that was what happened!

Interesting, she does have profile she manually created that does have followers. Is this as simple as she needs to update her wordpress user with that profile?

I think you misunderstand how the plugin works? This is no cross-poster. The plugin does use a Mastodon Account to publish posts, it makes a WordPress blog to a Mastodon similar instance, where users can directly follow the blogs users!

Is this what you have expected?

Totally possible I am misunderstanding, my first time ActivityPub and interacting with Mastodon.

I am expecting what you are saying. What I am confused on is that you said she needs a follower which she does. Unless I am looking at the wrong thing?

So that is what I meant: The plugin does NOT publish through Mastodon. It doesn’t matter if someone follows the Mastodon account, they have to follow https://intentionalhospitality.com/author/gina/ ??

If you want to simply publish posts using a Mastodon account, you have to use a different plugin, like for example: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/share-on-mastodon/

Just to close the loop on this. I did enjoy learning a lot more about the Fediverse and how it works. It ultimately came down to the host blocking ActivityPub from creating: /.well-known/webfinger

Once that was unblocked everything became discoverable on Mastodon and other Fediverse networks.

Marking as resolved that anyone else who might run into this knows the solution.
