• I have seen that lots of other people had the same problem years ago and it still exists today. My posts suddenly don’t show up on my homepage or the categories. The link that was posted on Twitter and FB go to the correct page. The post is there, but it does not show if you are looking for it on the site. Our site is https://blog.virtualmotorpix.com/ and the latest article is called “Silverstone surprise”. I have just deactivated 2 category widget plugins, but still no change. I update all my plugins regularly and have lately updated my wordpress version. Can you please help me urgently. Thanks a lot. Elke

  • this shows in your site’s output:

    <!-- Quick Cache file built for (https://blog.virtualmotorpix.com/) in 2.37563 seconds, on: Apr 26th, 2016 @ 7:08 am UTC. -->

    make sure that your cache plugin does show any changes immediately;

    double check the plugin’s documentation or ask the plugin’s developer.

    Hi Michael, I don’t understand what this means. Where do I find the plugin? What do I need to do?

    Your site is using some cache, as the code at the end of your site’s output in a browser shows:

    <!-- Quick Cache file path: /cache/quick-cache/cache/http/blog-virtualmotorpix-com/index.html -->
    <!-- Quick Cache file built for (https://blog.virtualmotorpix.com/) in 2.37563 seconds, on: Apr 26th, 2016 @ 7:08 am UTC. -->
    <!-- This Quick Cache file will auto-expire (and be rebuilt) on: May 3rd, 2016 @ 7:08 am UTC (based on your configured expiration time). -->
    <!-- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -->
    <!-- Quick Cache fully functional :-) Cache file served for (https://blog.virtualmotorpix.com/) in 0.00153 seconds, on: Apr 29th, 2016 @ 5:34 pm UTC. -->

    you as the site’s owner or administrator should know where that comes from;
    start by double-checking the ‘plugins’ section of the dashboard.
