New Posts Revert Back to Old Deleted Posts

  • For the past several months, I have been running into trouble when trying to update or add a new post to the homepage of my website. Every time I add a new post, it will at first show up on the website as I normally intended it to. However, within several hours (usually 2-24), it will revert back to the same old post from months ago that has long been deleted from my account. I have tried many different suggestions, but nothing seems to resolve my problem. Does anyone know what the problem seems to be with my account and more importantly, how to fix it?

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    I work for a store that uses a custom theme for their site. I’m not too familiar with the program, will trying this permanently change my theme/settings?

    No. Your theme & plugin settings are usually saved in your database and should be retained for future use.
