New “revamp” ruins a good product

    This used to be an amazing backup plugin letting you set many different kinds of backup jobs on different schedules, and now they’ve gotten rid of all of that and given users way less control. It no longer does what I need it to do, and it’s unusable for me now.

    We’re really sorry to hear that the latest update has made BackWPup unusable for your needs. Our intention was to simplify the interface. However, we understand how important having full control over backup jobs and schedules is, and we recognize that these changes have caused major disruption for you.

    Our team is actively working on improvements and reintroducing functionality, including reversing the two-job limit to bring back more flexibility in scheduling and customization. We truly appreciate your patience as we continue to make this right.

    In the meantime, if version 4.1.7 better suits your workflow, you can roll back to it here.
