New search form in dev mode

    your first problem is that you’re not on the dev version, so until you upgrade to 5.4.4.3 (new dev) you won’t see changes.

    then, make sure you enable the search form styles under Setings > General > Styling Options

    hopefully 5.5 should be out later today

    Then the REAL problem is that the upgrade/dev mode would not activate per the instructions– is there another link to try a direct upload? I’ve found another plugin but others might have this issue.

    Commandrea: To clarify, did you try the following steps?

    1. WP-admin > Events > Settings > General > Admin Tools (Advanced), click [Check Dev Versions]

    2. Now when you click the update button in the admin bar at the top of the screen, there should be an update for Events Manager listed – just like it would be an official EM version.

    3. Update to that version. You should now have the search form options available as described above by Marcus.

    This is how we update to dev versions of EM.
