New secondary menu is called when I implement URL main language

HI. I followed the instructions for the issue found at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/url-main-language?replies=4#post-8416469.
They worked to solve my initial problem, but resulted in a new problem. Now, after following these instructions, a secondary menu location has bene populated with a list of pages. These pages are not organized into any proper WordPress menu in the admin dashboard – so I am unclear where this selection of pages came from or why the menu I explicitly selected for the secondary menu location is not being loaded. If I disable this plugin, the expected secondary menu loads and this list of random pages no longer displays.
Can you help me understand why this menu is appearing when I use this plugin with the URL main language configuration settings in place, since it do not explicitly request the menu anywhere?
