New setup and some data not available

    I’m new to Piwik and WP-Piwik, but I’ve set them up and had them running for a few days. When I log in to Piwik directly, I can see all my data. But on the WP-Piwik dashboard, I see the graph and chart for Visitors (last 30 days) just fine, but everything else says “no data available” (such as Overview, Browser Details or Referrers). Since I can see this data elsewhere, I’m wondering if I made an error in configuring WP-Piwik. I’m using the Self-Hosted (HTTP, API Default) mode and Auto-config is checked. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi supersaving,

    can you please try to disable WP-Piwik’s caching option (see Settings -> WP-Piwik -> Expert settings) and try again? If the data is shown, you should be able to re-enable the caching.

    Looks like there is some caching issue – I’m working on this.

    Thank you so much for the prompt reply, André. I disabled the caching and the data was shown properly. However, when I re-enabled it, the data disappeared again.

    Yes, you are right… the old corrupted data is still stored.

    The new 0.10.0.8 should also fix this issue. I didn’t release it yet, because I had no time to test it on a mutlisite. But it is already running on my own live blog – if you are runnig a single site, feel free to update now. Otherwise just wait until 0.10.0.8 is offered in your WordPress backend.

    0.10.0.9 should solve the issue. If WP-Piwik still shows the invalid cached data, you can clear the cache at Settings -> WP-Piwik -> Support -> Clear cache.
