New Site / Newb Question

  • Hey guys,

    Just installed the plugin. Looks cool! Wondering – My site is relatively new, so traffic is sparse. Should I just hit record and let it record for a week to see what my visitors are up to? Can you even do that? Thanks,

    Hi Dave,
    sure, once the plugin is installed, simply visit your own site, and activate the recording for the desired pages (up to 5 if you are using the Free license).
    As soon as it’s active the heatmap will show clicks in realtime. If your audience is sparse, please allow a couple of days. We usually recommend a couple hundred to thousand clicks to analyse statistically relevant numbers.
