new site no dashbaord

  • Basically Im trying to make a test site so it will be test.domain.com and i can create it just fine but when i go to view the site or go tot he dash board i get a this webpage is not available page. I’m newer to wordpress but I understand coding and stuff after an hour of trying to figure it out i have come up short so can someone please help me!

    Try uploading the /wp-admin folder again using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    I don’t really know what that means or how to go about doing that in WordPress

    – look in the root of your WordPress installation. There should be three folders at the top. One of the should be wp-admin. Delete that one.

    – Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up the /wp-admin/ directory.

    – Do all this using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    I think we might be talking about 2 different things because i dont have word press on my computer im doing it solely online
