New site not showing up properly in Internet Explorer 8

First I would like to say thanks fro using Responsive Theme ??

The IE8 https://imgur.com/1C8mi doesn’t look any different from Chrome or FF, maybe I’m missing something here.

It looks fine my end too on IE9 and Chrome but my friend is saying it’s showing up all jumbled up on his IE8…. but then other times it’s OK :-S

Could it be that he needs to clear his history, cache etc or reinstall the browser?

In some cases cache can be an issues, but also browser extensions or add-ons as well. Restarting should help, not really sure if one needs to reinstall the browser.

Seems to be an incompatibility issue with IE8 as I’ve tried it on a different computer and it’s still doing the same thing so I’m not sure what to do about that.

The other things I need to do are change the background colours of the right side bars but not sure where I find and edit the code, is it in the main .css file? Also I need to centre the header logo and the footer menu links.

Any ideas?

Just revisited this once again, here locally and remotely from Adobe Browser Labs https://browserlab.adobe.com and there are no issues please see https://imgur.com/a/DDrsC

I would also look into plugin styles and ask the plugin author of easyReservations for assistance, this is after all plugin related, not really tied with the Theme styles ??
