New site on Multisites for Dumbies Needed

  • I have multisite set up on first install and have one site. I’ve tried going to network admin > sites > then setting up a new site. I’ve followed the instruction for setting up a subdomain. But nothing works for me. I need to set up a second site because the theme is different. I REALLY need a for dummies tutor.

    Any thoughts? I research this to death and missing something.

    What happens when you make the subdomain? You go to sub.example.com and … what?

    I can make a subdomain but when I got back to wordpress and add a site all I get is

    Index of /igrow
    ? Parent Directory
    ? cgi-bin/

    Right, so that means your subdomain is et up wrong ??

    You’re pointing to /public_html/igrow and you need it to point to /public_html/

    (NB: that may not be your specific path, so check where the main domain points, and match that)
