New Site with FTP Access Only

    I have a new client who only seems to have their login info for FTP, and not their hosting provider’s website (cPanel, php my admin, etc.). I tried to setup a subdirectory and then install WordPress through FTP, but when I try logging in at https://www.new.website.com/wp-admin or https://www.website.com/new/wp-admin, it says the website is unavailable or the directory listing is denied.

    Is it possible to install a subdirectory and WordPress the way I am doing it – through FTP only? Usually I login to the host’s website to do these things.

    Any advice would be much appreciated.
