    Hi there,
Yoast SEO Dashboard told me to manually add two table for the new Link Stats feature.
I used the SQL code to create the tables.
In PHPmyadmin the script finished without any further notice and the new tables are also visible now.
But the dashboard still tells me that this feature is disabled because those tables were not added.

What can I do to get this addin satisfied?

    TIA and greetings!
    Tony

    Hello Tony,

Could you check that you added the right code when manually creating the tables by checking this KB article here.

In some cases, the plugin successfully creates the table but displays incorrect messages due to incorrect transient cache. The transient cache typically clears automatically within a few hours and the message will disappear and the link count functionality will be enabled. Could you also try disabling and enabling the Text Link Counter under SEO > Dashboard > Features?

    Hello Mike,
I used excactly that code. The tables are visible and I also checked if the feature is enabled under SEO > Dashboard > Features.
The tables were added about an hour ago.
So I will wait some more hours and let you know what happens.
    Thanks for your help!

    Addendum:
In table wp_yoast_seo_links I see 24 lines of content with different links that I used in my posts.
Looks like the system is successfully using the tables already. But the notification is still visible.
