New Tag Cloud Fail

  • Hello All,
    It sounded like a really good idea, but unfortunately, it would not activate. And so you know, I tried it on two different sites on different servers.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’, expecting ‘{‘ in /var/www/volumes/xvdh2/vhosts/reallycoolhalloweencostumes.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/newer-tag-cloud/newer-tag-cloud.php on line 101

    If you get it working, I’d be willing to try it again and change the feedback. Thanks for the effort

    Hey @pammio61,

    Sorry I didn’t see this sooner to respond. The error you’re seeing is due to your server not running on PHP 7+ as the code currently uses return types. I’m sorry that the documentation did not make this clear.

    I will make an update to the plugin removing the PHP 7.0+ exclusive features to resolve your issue.
