Client has been informed by his accountant that he now needs to tax sales to every state in the US. Will I have to enter that all manually, or will the jetpack/woocommerce services be updated to reflect that, or am I missing something else entirely.

Ok, so woocommerce doesn’t support that yet. I’ve done a lot of research and the only place I can find that provides csv files for US states’ taxes, the file doesn’t include the country code and woocommerce/wordpress is rejecting it as invalid. I’m really tearing my hair out over this, any ideas? To do it manually is a full time job. Thank you.

    Hi there,

If, for some reason, your client needs to collect sales tax for every US state, your best bet would be to use the TaxJar Extension, which will allow you to set up a tax nexus for every state; WooCommerce Services only allows for one tax nexus.

    Hi again,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions!

    Best,

    Ross
