New text entry field to store in DB

  • Hello,

    I have been searching for a few days now and while I have come across a couple of things. Nothing really was what I was needing. So I thought I would ask.

    Does anyone know if a plugin exists or if this is easy to add where I can add a new text entry field below the title where the value will be stored in the DB? I don’t need to display the value on the post. I just need to store it in the DB for some other things I am working on.
