New Theme "Adventure Bound" Coming Out Soon

  • I’m finishing up a new theme and would like to get the communities response on it before I push too much further with it. First let me mention, I really would like this to be a premium theme I offer on my website for $10, which I only mention so you don’t read to much into this if your only going to get angry with me wanting to charge for this.

    I’m told a picture is worth a thousand words, and I believe it to be true, so instead of typing till my hand are tired I thought that the theme running live on my personal website at https://schwarttzy.com/ should do all the talking (or possibly typing in this case).

  • I’m afraid you can only promote GPL themes on these forums.

    Contrary to popular belief, GPL doesn’t say that everything must be zero-cost, just that when you receive the software or theme that it not restrict your freedoms in how you use it.

    Agreed but I don’t see any mention of a GPL licence on your site or your original post. Can you please clarify the license?

    LOL sorry I miss read your first post. As for the GPL I haven’t gotten around to adding it but I will now. I should mention that this theme is completely from the ground up written from scratch and I have still have things I need to add to it before it is complete (Like sidebars).

    Thanks. I did see that there’s a GPL notice in style.css but most non-technical people won’t think to look in there (or even know how to). So an up-front line about its license on your site or in a post here will help.

    Looks like you’ve got the basis for a nice photoblog theme there. It’ll be nice to see a new theme in that niche.
