New Theme Error after uploading

  • Hi,

    After I uploaded the new theme, I got the following message:
    Connection Timed Out.

    and when I tried a few times I got this:
    The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

    Can you help?!

    Hi Farzi.

    Its quite simple. You can do it 2 ways. See below:

    1) Upload the same theme via FTP, else
    2) Go to the php.ini in your hosting account, open it in editor, browse for upload_max_filesize and set it to 512MB

    Thanks for the reply. But the problem is I am very new to this.

    I could not find the php.ini.

    I haven’t downloaded WordPress from the web. I just ran it online. I don’t know how to access php.ini.

    Also the first error that I get is “Connection Timed Out”.
