Thank you for the encouraging words. this theme was sitting idle for a long time, with no sidebar content at all.

just recently i put together some code, to show boxes for the sidebar content, just below the content area.
it is the same trick I used for showing the 3 boxes in the top of wpthemes.info’s home page.

really nice and clean. looking at the “something to test” post, there’s a border around the emoticons. other than going into the css, any way to remove the border?

you can tell wordpress, to not put emoticons in place of :), ?? etc

it is in the wordpress control panel.
