This may be an odd request, but I was checking out WordPress for a theme to use for a website I am creating. I found a website on the WordPress “Showcase” section, the website is https://www.imaginingindia.com and has a very simple layout that appeals to the project I’m working on.
I’ve searched and searched and searched, and can not find any theme that is remotely close to this. It was created on WordPress, and appears to be somewhat simple… would you be able to create a theme along these lines? Or could you help me figure out the best way to come close to it?
I’m new to WordPress, and I have very limited website creation skills, so this is very much a learning experience for me. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Just FYI: The key feature I like from the above referenced site, is the fact that the left sidebar remains the same, and each section is displayed on the right side. I’d actually want it to be about 1/3 vs. 2/3 instead of 1/2 and 1/2. I also very much like the “color-coded” or “color-coordinated” sections.
I’m a police officer for a small town in Texas, and computers are a hobby, and I’m trying to help my small town out by creating a new website for the city. They want it to be as simple and easy as possible not only to maintain, but also for citizens to interact with the site.
