    Hi Modern Tribe,

    We have The Events Calendar Pro and recently installed Event Tickets so that we can manage the number of attendees per event. I installed Event Tickets; however, we only have the option to “+ New RSVP”. The “+ New Ticket” option is grayed out on our event. We have this in our staging environment, so I don’t want to provide a link in a public support forum.

    I’ve read through the New User Primer, and also through this thread, which describes a similar issue: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/making-tickets-not-possible-only-rsvp-is-showing/

    In this thread, the user needed to install a commerce plugin. Since we are not using Pro, this did not help us resolve the issue.

    I have also
    – Made sure The Events Calendar & The Events Calendar Pro are fully updated.
    – Changed the theme to a default WordPress one.
    – Disabled all other plugins.

    None of that helped. Only “+ New RSVP” shows.

    We want to make a ticket for our events, not collect RSVPs. Can you please help us?

  • Hey there, sorry about the wait — we’ve seen a high number of support requests across our platforms.

    To use tickets, you’ll need to set up Tribe Commerce under Events > Settings > Tickets. Once your PayPal is successfully linked, you’ll have the option to add tickets.
