Be sure you have deleted the following files from your theme folder:

    single-listing.php
    archive-listing.php
    taxonomy.php

Second, be sure to clear any caches and disable any caching plugins.

Third, deactivate all other plugins to see if one is conflicting.

I did all three and no change.

I went through each plugin one by one

Your theme is still displaying the template files within the theme which take precedence over the plugin’s templates. Confirm those files have been deleted from the theme folder.

Your site is also displaying the archive-listing.php from the theme, which means it has not been deleted.

@agentevolution: Sorry but that’s not cool and really goes too far. Accessing a user’s system like this makes you responsible for that user’s system. If you make changes and something breaks later on as a result, then it is your fault.

Get information, ask for log data, have the user contact you & seek copies of the PHP files. Look but don’t touch. If your code is the problem, then produce a fix and post it here. If the theme or another plugin is at fault, then inform the user, suggest a fix, offer to contact the other developer and/or update your FAQ.

But do not try to make changes to the user’s files in this way. That’s really going too far outside of your area of responsibility.

Ok, I deleted the php files for sure this time. Now all I get when I view my page is a blank page

This is the behavior you get when no template files exist… like if you deleted them from the plugin instead of the theme.

Delete the plugin and reinstall a fresh copy. Don’t delete anything from the plugin files – only the previously mentioned files within your theme folder.

That fixed it. Thanks so much!!!

I’m using the Divi theme by Elegant Themes & it doesn’t seem to have the said files to remove.

    Please advise.
