    Hi community,

after many years I started to update one of the old sites – everything looks good so far, except NextGEN.

We’ve been using these simple shortcodes and neither works like it used to:

    For direct image display:
    [singlepic id=1439 w=290 h=210 float=left]

For album link with image preview:
    [album id=15 template=compact]

The first one doesn’t work at all and just displays the link, where when clicked the image gets bigger.

The second one does open the page with the images, but it doesn’t show the preview and the title itself is truncated.

I can’t seem to find any comprehensive documentation with the new ngg shorcodes and their parameters.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @divous,

As long as we are aware, the Singlepic shortcode should continue to work just fine with the latest version NGG 3.39.

We also tested the second legacy album shortcode and the lightbox correctly appears in our case. Please feel free to contact our support team at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ and one of our support representatives will be happy to help you.

P.S. We suggest you to insert galleries and albums using the “NextGen Gallery” block from the page’s editor instead. You will need to continue to use the Singlepic shortcode though because it cannot be added using “NextGen Gallery” block. If you are interested of the shortcode structure, you can edit the inserted “NextGen Gallery” block as HTML. You should see a simplified shortcode structure like the one from below:

    [ngg src=”galleries” ids=”2000000000″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]
