    Hello and thanks for any help. I’m novice with WordPress (and SureCart) with two active websites with Astra themes and online stores. Both stores are not functioning due to payment processor issues. We are attempting to use SureCart on both websites but starting with one website at a time.

    Currently, after attempting to setup SureCart twice now on the first site, SureCart doesn’t seem to integrate with our existing shop, “…com/shop” (Astra “Organic” theme, photos, data, descriptions, etc.) but instead SureCart creates a new shop “…com/shop-2”. So in the upper left WordPress Dashboard when I click the dropdown list below the url the options are: “Visit Site”, “Visit SureCart Store”, or “Visit Store”. The SureCart store (“…com/shop-2”) is empty and our Store (“…com/shop”) has the edited store theme, photos, descriptions, etc.

    Both times we installed SureCart (first time from Astra page, second time from WordPress Plugin library page we selected “use existing store” from the start up process and went though the process. The first time we activated the Stripe payment “test” process and did all that yet the SureCart store was empty as we have described. Second time now we haven’t done the Stripe part as the SureCart store still seems to not integrate our exitstng store. We have been working with SureCart Customer Care (#214991), written back and forth many emails with our question(s) and given admin access to them to our WordPress site (the access link is still in effect). We have also searched the internet and youtube videos for solutions and much of SureCart help pages without figuring out what’s wrong. The problem is likely something simple we think due to our very basic skill level with WordPress, Astra, and SureCart as well. Please advise, we would like to use SureCart for at least one website store and into the future for more. We hope we can resolve this. No hurry, just want to get this set up correctly. Once we learn what the issue(s) is with the first site and SureCart and the changes needed, we plan to implement the same changes on the second website as the settings and plugins used on both WordPress sites are almost he same.

    1) SureCart doesn’t seem to integrate our existing store but creates this empty store? Is this normal?

    2) Given our lack of experience and skill, is there a threat to security (accounts etc.) by providing admin access to our WordPress site? Should we reset passwords, etc once the SureCart setup problem(s) are resolved?
