• Hi,

I just started using WP 5 days ago. I was given a really nice template and plugin to get my site started. I kind of messed up a few things as I was learning, and now I want to delete everything and start brand new. I need to do that because I tried to install a plugin under the Themes installation, and now I have a notice in Marketing Options that says:

    “Broken Theme – Ad-Management(my plugin)
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.”

I have changed themes, deleted the one I was using, re-installed it, deleted the plugin, re-installed it, and this message is still there. The problem is, that this is somehow screwing up my site so I just want to delete it all.

Sorry for the long post but I wanted you to know that I really need to start from a blank slate to get rid of that ‘broken theme’ issue that won’t go away.

    Thanks
    Suzana.

    would that be hostgator?

    Yes log in hostgator
    Click on file manager
    click on public_html
click on wp-content if installed in root else click on wordpress folder and then click on wp-content
    click on themes
in that themes folder you will find a folder Ad-Management delete that as that needs to be plugins folder

I did it all. Thanks so much! I hope all is working now. Much easier than to delete my entire site.

    Thanks so much!

    You are welcome
