• I have heard such good raves about wordpress that it has come time to give it a go for myself.
Im looking at some good tutorials on implementing my own design and have read that one good way to start is to create your layout first, all as one file then go from there creating your php files to create a theme template.

Has anyone got any advice for approaching your first design/intergration with wordpress or just get in there and give it a go?

just found this nice tutorial on how to create a template for wordpress

About the best advice I received was to install a theme you like into your host thru ftp. Then install web developer and edit css add ons onto Firefox.

You can right click and chose edit css right from your blog front page and edit it then see what it looks like right then. Then make it pernament by saving it in edit template in the presentation tab. Hope this isnt confusing. Best advice search around here alot.
